One of our most popular shows in October, the just for fun Halloween Magic Show, is designed to do just that.
The Spooktacular Halloween Show is a 45-minute assembly show that captivates audiences with its impressive stage design. When we arrive at your school, we bring a stunning 25-foot backdrop reminiscent of a witch’s lair. The star of the show is Grizelda the Witch, a character who instantly captivates children with her goofy ways. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that is both entertaining and appropriate for all elementary school children, from preschoolers to sixth graders. Grizelda is intentionally not scary because we want all children to have fun and feel comfortable.
Grizelda’s backstory is relatable to many children. As a character who never did her homework and prefers jokes and fun to learning, she represents the desire for instant gratification without putting in the necessary effort. To take a shortcut, Grizelda stirs a concoction in a cauldron and summons a magician who teaches her magic tricks, especially how to fly on a broom.
However, our magician teaches Grizelda an important lesson – that achieving dreams requires consistent hard work, dedication, and focus on the goal. Grizelda’s initial lack of discipline and tendency to goof around cause her to have difficulty with the magic tricks. But through perseverance and the wizard’s guidance, she eventually learns how to fly. This story highlights the value of perseverance and the rewards of making the necessary effort.
Not only do we teach important life lessons, but we also place great emphasis on the safety and well-being of children. We stress the importance of parents checking their Halloween candy before eating it. This simple reminder can help prevent potential harm and create a safe and enjoyable Halloween experience for all.
